What do you do when you are following Jesus, and to the best of
your ability you are doing all the right things but you are still
experiencing adversity? The question to be answered is: How will
you choose to respond to adversity? When you lose a job or have a
financial setback or a relationship gone wrong or
a personal failure––it’s not that thing that defines you. It’s all
about how you see yourself. It’s how you respond. We will fight
battles externally and we will fight battles internally. We will
face adversity as we advance through God’s plan and purpose for our
